We all like to do whatever we can to avoid a dull interior, but it's not the easiest task. Some colours can get boring after some time, but there is one colour that shall always remain timeless and inspiring, and that is white.

Today on homify 360, we're showing you a remarkable example of what you can achieve with white and some minimalist principles. The home is a simple one, built two storeys high on a slight incline and designed with somewhat traditional elements like the gabled roof and forms of fencing. The interior of the home is really something to be admired. The interior architects at Vibe Design haven't done much with the space in terms of decoration and furnishing, but this is just the beginning of a stunning and quiet space with the right atmosphere for relaxation.

So if all of this fits your liking, then come with us and explore!

First look

Everything about this home suggests a practical, clean, and inviting interior. Classic and pristine white coats the exterior and is contrasted by black trim on the roofs and on the balcony railing. Soft and subtle natural elements help to moderate the façade's otherwise imposing nature.

Close-up

Natural materials like concrete, wood, and cement were used both in and outside of the home for various reasons. The concrete base of the home is particularly earthquake-resistant, which is a necessity in this area. The home has also been elevated to circumvent the effects of natural disasters. The wooden fence serves as a softening, as well as protective feature.

The bare essentials

Inside the home, we see the same pristine white we saw on the façade, and this time with more warm wooden accents to help create a calming and comfortable environment. As you can see, this area is largely unfurnished, but not without purpose. The limited use of ornate furniture and decor items keeps the interior open and allows for free-flowing energy to circulate the room. The decorations we do have are simple–only unadorned hanging lights and an uncomplicated beige table cover occupy this room.

Something's cooking in the kitchen

Backing away from the dining area, we see a fully-functional modern, stainless steel kitchen accompanied by generous wooden support. The warm wood offsets the coldness of the metal and brings uniformity to the home. And now that we can get a better look at the ceiling, we can see some truly interesting elements. Because this home lacks overall decoration, structural elements help make up the home's decor. We can see that with the wooden support beams. And hanging delicately just behind one of them is an indoor hammock, perfect for swinging away life's troubles.

Looking in

The view of the interior from the outside window really lets us know how big the home really is. We are looking in through the sliding glass doors that open this area up to the outdoors and give those inside a great panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. We can also see the stairwell leading to the second storey from here. The black accent wall looks great against the white ladder staircase, particularly when light is cast upon it.

The washroom

Finally, we end our tour in the bathroom, which exhibits the same harmony as the rest of the home. White and wood are used in perfect combination, and just like the other rooms, displays no unnecessary ornamentation for a clear home and head. This home is exemplary when it comes to decorating with white and using natural elements to soften the atmosphere, and we're hoping you found a few styling tips to give your home the same ambience.
