Bought 6 x 5" cast iron pull handles with antique finish to finally complete a job involving some bedside cabinets I made from 300yr old oak floorboards. The handles look terrific and the customer loves 'em. Now I've found you guys I won't be looking anywhere else in future for my ironwork.

I placed an order on Thursday and paid extra for next working day delivery only to have a message from Royal mail to say my order will be arriving on Monday.
I sent and email to them explaining this only to have a response that says Monday is the next working day and they will attempt to update the site so its clearer to others. Perhaps they do not work Fridays but why was I charged extra and if it's an error on their part why not refund the difference? Bad customer service.
When you work in the trade you place an order for next day because you need these tools to complete your job, without them you're wasting yours and customers time.
I cannot yet comment on the quality of the product because yep, it's Friday, a none working day...apparently
Only a small order of some shelving brackets but Alan answered a dimensions query really quickly (and on a bank holiday Monday) and by Wednesday afternoon, they're in my hands. Absolutely spot on. Wish all small businesses were this way. Thanks Alan 👍🏻
Made 2 orders, both times the products which arrived were not what I ordered.
I bought £100 worth of iron brackets but they are not solid. I was very disappointed with the bracket's quality and with Woodnwaxfurniture's return policy.
I had them installed in a kitchen shelf (6.7 Kg), but it was wobbly so I had more the solid brackets installed. To shelves in bathroom builders had to add industrial adhesive to pin brackets to the wall as fittings weren't good enough. Finally, brackets were not straight (90 degrees), so builders had to hammer them into shape.
When I contacted the company about a refund for the brackets I hadn't used, I was told a 25% "re stocking charge" (whatever that means) would be deducted from refunds over 14 days (it was just 3 weeks after delivery, but I'd only used them 2 days earlier, I was doing a whole house renovation). When I asked about process for refunds he didn't even reply. Overall a bad experience with the product and the company. Sad to experience this with a small independent business, which I like to support.
Really pleased with our oak beam, wood n wax were really helpful and made sure we got it on a day that suited us.
We ordered some lovely side tables, very good quality and beautifully made, great customer service too xx
